I took my car in for a covered repair that was discovered by another GM Service dealer. While at Barker’s they “discovered” a different problem. I left my car there on a Tuesday by Friday the repairs still hadn’t been done. I called about a loaner vehicle and was provided with one. When I left on Friday they told me hopefully my car would be done by the following Wednesday. Wednesday came and I didn’t hear from them. I called on Thursday and it still wasn’t done. They assured me it would be done the next day. I drove down on Friday to pick up my car and was told it wasn’t done, but it would be done by noon on the following Monday. I called Monday at 3 and was told that it wasn’t done but would be done the next day. I told them it was unacceptable and was taking my car to annother dealer. I would be coming down to pick up my car that afternoon. When I arrived, I was presented a $700 bill for my car when they hadn’t done anything. $550 dollars of the bill was for the loaner, which if I had known they were going to have it for two weeks without getting the repairs done, I would have just driven my car until they had a definite time to actually fix it. The “service” person said that she wouldn’t be charging me a restocking fee. I told her that was great since it was her fault and not mine. She proceeded to give all kinds of excuses but the main one was that they only had one person who could do that particular job and he was busy. That should have been the first thing that I was told and I would have taken my car and not been charged $550 for a loaner. Bottom line, I will never go to Barker’s in Lexington for service or sales again!!!

Everything was great until the very end signing the paperwork I absolutely hate when they try and push the extra warranty and the simonize even though we told them we didnt want it.
Service department is a joke . Doesn’t know how to treat a customer, and doesn’t know how truck warranty works .
Just said they would have my handicapped vehicle back for use but failed. Last year took 2 full months to get a transmission o handicapped vehicle 2 months. Supposed to be working on the infotainment center said camera in windshield need replaced infotainment not fixed. Over the air upgrades from Gm don't work. Complain about the radio for several years and service people do nothing than warranty expires. xxxx don't want to buy a gm product again
I absolutely love come to Barker Chevy how this time I was a bit disappointed in the service I received. When dropping off my car at the dealership on lunch break for oil change I had stated to the person at the desk that I noticed that my car was shaking a little bit shortly after startup he said he might have someone to look at it, but he was going to let me know when he gave me a call to let me know that my car was done. By the time I got off work and was ready to go pick up my car I had not yet received a phone call, letting me know that my car was done or if they even had a chance to look at the cause of the shaking when I got to the dealership, I asked the people at the payment desk if the maintenance guys had said anything about my car and they knew nothing about it. I was very disappointed..
